Lock your print job with a PIN to make it more secure.

The Ricoh multifunction printers have the ability to hold your print job behind a PIN before printing, thus making the print job more secure and HIPAA/FERPA compliant.

 

  1. Start printing like you would normally, but open the Printer Properties
  2. Change the ‘Print Type” to “Locked Print” and then click Details

  1. Enter a 4-8 digit PIN into the box and click OK

  1. Click OK on the printer options and then finish your print like normal.
  2. Go to the printer and select the “Quick Print Release” option on the touch panel

  1. Touch your name in the list
  2. You will be prompted to enter your PIN
  3. Select your print job from the list, and click “Print”
    1. You can also change some print settings before printing if you like.
