The Ricoh multifunction printers have the ability to hold your print job behind a PIN before printing, thus making the print job more secure and HIPAA/FERPA compliant.
- Start printing like you would normally, but open the Printer Properties
- Change the ‘Print Type” to “Locked Print” and then click Details

- Enter a 4-8 digit PIN into the box and click OK

- Click OK on the printer options and then finish your print like normal.
- Go to the printer and select the “Quick Print Release” option on the touch panel

- Touch your name in the list
- You will be prompted to enter your PIN
- Select your print job from the list, and click “Print”
- You can also change some print settings before printing if you like.
