Overview:
What you can expect and do if you can't execute a file because of a ThreatLocker block/deny.
NOTE: Submitted requests are evaluated and responded to Monday - Friday 8AM-5PM
Process:
- If your computer tries to execute a program that isn't recognized or approved, you will receive one or two dialog boxes, as seen here:

- NOTE:
- The box labeled #1 will always be displayed if you try to execute something that ThreatLocker hasn't Learned or is explicitly denied.
- Box #2 will come up if the program has not been learned on the computer and gives you the option to request approval.
- If you ONLY receive the top left box:
- Either the program is explicitly denied at FSUMED, or
- The "Don't Show Again" box was previously clicked for this program. You can reset this my right clicking the ThreatLocker tray icon and selecting "Reset History"

- If you wish to execute the file, please click the "Request Access" button. You will be presented with a popup that looks like this:
- Message Box: Please explain what the program is and the purpose for requesting it. Only requests with messages entered will be processed by OIT.
- Note: Your email address is prepopulated and the box to attach a copy is selected. Please do not alter these fields
- OIT will be notified of this request and will respond as soon as feasible
- You will receive an email and a pop-up notification when:
- Your request is approved so that you can run the program, or
- Your request was not approved and a reason will be provided
