How to pair and configure 8bitdo Zero 2 and Micro remote for Anki (Windows)

This article is designed to show you how to pair your controller to your device and configure it using Joy2Key.

Configuring Anki Remote 8bitdo Zero 2

For Windows:

  • Install Anki (flash card program)
  • Install Joy2Key (remote control mapping program)

Pairing Remote to Bluetooth:

  • Press Start to turn on
  • Hold START & X to pair as game control (NOT as keyboard)
  • Press and Hold Select  until light blinks quickly to enter pairing mode

Configuring Joy2Key:

  • One Handed:

  • A = 4 (Easy)
  • B = 1 (Again)
  • X = Enter (Good/ Show Answer/ Flip)
  • Y = 2 (Hard)
  • Down Arrow = Down Arrow (Scroll Down)
  • Up Arrow = Up Arrow key (Scroll Up)
  • R = Space (Flip Card)
  • L = Control + Z (Undo)

 

 

Configuring Anki Remotes for 8bitdo Micro

For Windows:

  • Install Anki (flash card program)
  • Install Joy2Key (remote control mapping program)

Pairing Remote to Bluetooth:

  • Press + to turn on
  • Hold + & Pair (on bottom of remote) to enter pairing (pair as controller)

Configuring Joy2Key:

  • One Handed:
