FSU is transitioning university desk phones to Zoom Phone, which is a soft phone application that allows you to make and receive phone calls over the Internet.

Zoom Phone will provide an enhanced calling experience and modernize university technology to allow more flexibility when making calls or meeting online with colleagues across the world. With Zoom Phone, you will still have all the functionality of your current phone, plus new features like voice transcriptions, a mobile app, and more.

Get Started w/ Zoom Phone

Please note, the Zoom Phone option will only show if you have been transitioned to zoom phone already.

1. On your mobile phone... Download the Zoom app from the App Store or Google Play Store
2. Open the Zoom app on your computer or mobile device (most likely, it's the same Zoom App on your computer you are already using.)
3. Select the SSO sign in option
4. Sign in with your FSU email address —in the format FSUID@fsu.edu— and FSU password
5. Select the Launch Zoom Workplace app button if Zoom does not open automatically
